We celebrate the Rolex 24 through the details, color, design, and spirit of this incredible event. Established in 1962, the race is run on a 3.56-mile combined road course and is typically held the last weekend of January marking the first major U.S. automobile competition of the year. Daytona remains one of the most important events on the racing calendar.
International Motor Sports Association, IMSA, is North America's premier sports car organization which sanctions the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship opening with a pair of historic events – the Rolex 24 At Daytona and Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring fueled by Fresh from Florida – building on the vision of John Bishop and Bill France Sr. from 45 years ago.
